How to prepare your nylon / sachet film
- Nylon must be clean and dry — shake out water and let sachets dry before bagging.
- Pack sachets and nylon bags tightly into sacks.
- Keep food-soiled or oily nylon out; it cannot be recycled.
What we never take
- Medical or clinical waste of any kind.
- Food waste, or anything soaked in food, oil, chemicals or sewage.
- Anything the seller cannot say where it came from.
- Wet, mouldy or oily cartons. Keep your board dry and off the ground.
- Anything still holding chemicals, fuel or paint, even an empty-looking drum.
- Anything sharp, broken or unsafe for the driver to lift by hand.
Common questions
Are pure water sachets really recyclable?
Yes. Clean sachet film is melted down and turned into new plastic products. The key word is clean — sachets mixed with food waste or sand cannot be processed, so keep yours dry and bagged.
When will you start buying nylon in Ibadan?
