Who buys waste in Nigeria?

Most recyclable waste in Nigeria moves through three kinds of buyers: scavengers and small collectors who walk the streets, aggregators with a yard where you bring your material, and recycling companies that buy in bulk from the aggregators.

The trouble for a trader is that the first group often pays whatever they like, and the other two want you to transport the waste yourself. Reearnify sits in the middle: we come to your stall like a collector, but we pay a published price per kilo like a proper company.

How selling your waste works

Send us a message on WhatsApp or call 0708 734 1449. Tell us your shop or market and roughly how much you have. Our driver comes to you, weighs everything on our scale where you can see the reading, and pays you per kilo by bank transfer or cash before leaving.

There is no transport charge, and every seller gets the same price per kilo. No haggling.

Who buys waste near me in Nigeria?

In Ibadan, Reearnify buys cartons and cardboard straight from your shop or stall. Message us on WhatsApp or call 0708 734 1449 and our driver comes to you. In other cities, join our waitlist and we will contact you when we open there.

Do you pay for waste or collect it free?

We pay you. Your waste is weighed on our scale and you are paid per kilo by transfer or cash on the same visit. The pickup itself costs you nothing.

Is there a minimum quantity?

Yes, about 50 kg per pickup. That is roughly a chest-high stack of flattened cartons. If you have less, keep stacking and message us when you get there.
